Meet the craftsman behind Monkey Madsen

My name is Kim Arne Dahl Madsen, I am the man behind Monkey Madsen – a company driven by the passion for wood and respect for nature. I have worked with wood and nature care for almost 25 years, and my love for the natural craft began when I became an apprentice forest worker in the year 2000. Over the years, I have specialized in creating customized solutions in wood and performing complex tasks within tree care with high professionalism and safety.

My fascination with wood as a material comes from many years of work in the forest, where I learned to understand the growth, strength and beauty of trees. Every wood I work with tells its own story and it is my aim to transform it into something that is not only functional but also highlights the wood's unique character and structure. I see every assignment as an opportunity to use my skills to bring out the raw beauty of nature in handmade products or nature care projects.

A focus on safety and sustainability

My background as a forest worker with certified courses in tree climbing, risk assessment and biodiversity means that I work with great respect for both safety and the environment. This means that all my projects are carried out with careful planning and risk assessment to ensure that the work is carried out efficiently and without harming the environment. I strive to provide solutions that not only meet my customers' needs, but also contribute to a sustainable and harmonious balance in the surrounding environment.
